If you could drive out to California and back, making numerous stops along the way, where would you stop? What places do you want to see in this beautiful and diverse country we live in?
The following is a map I created in Google Maps:

These are the places I would visit if i drove to California and Back. There's a total of 28 stops because there's so much to do.
This looks like it would be a great trip. The map must have taken forever. I agree, there's TOO much to do in this country. Hope one day you get to make this happen.

ReplyDelete1. Alaska. I have always wanted to go on a cruise there. You would be in the ocean with these huge, beautiful glaciers surrounding you. That would be really cool.
2. New York City. I live only an hour away, but I've only been in the Empire State Building once. And besides, I would never miss an opportunity to shop in NYC.
3. Forks, Washington. It''s the main town in Twilight. I was curious about it. Does it actually rain there almost everyday ? Is it actually as small as the books (The Twilight Saga) say it is ?
4. Texas. I have always wanted to meet a real Texas cowboy, and hear his accent :) Also, I was wondering if Texas is actually a lonely and
abandoned place with tumbleweed everywhere, or if that's just stories.
5. CALIFORNIA ! It would be awesome to go to Hollywood ! Also, I really want to see the tallest tree in the world. It's a redwood tree that can be found in one of California's state parks.

If I were to go on a trip from New Jersey to California and back I would visit various locations on the way. It would be a fun filled and exciting trip that I would remember for the rest of my life. On my trip I would stop at 12 different locations. Some are near the beach while others are in the middle of the country. Here are all the wonderful places that I would want to encounter on my journey from New Jersey to California and back.
First off I would start at my house in Colonia, New Jersey. Then I would make my way down to Wilmington, Delaware to see my cousins and other family members. I would enjoy seeing them since we don’t see them too often. Next, I would continue down south to Washington D.C. to see the White House, the Capitol, the Washington Monument and museums. Also, I would be able to visit my other cousins in nearby Columbia, Maryland. Furthermore I would progress onto Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. There I would visit historical sites and learn more about the history of Virginia and the United States. Continuing on I would soon visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Once I would arrive there I would visit with my aunt, uncle and cousins at their condominium on the beach. I would go to the skate park that’s nearby and go to the beach and pool that is located in their development. It would be so much fun.
Now I would be headed towards Meridian, Mississippi to do some fishing, hiking, biking, and my favorite ATV off road riding. I love to be outdoors and I know that’s the place that I would want to be. Next, I would venture on, to San Antonio, Texas. In San Antonio I can go to the San Antonio River Walk, the Alamo, and Sea World. I love sea life so I know that Sea World will be a beautiful experience. At this point, I would be making my way to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I would especially enjoy hiking, white water rafting, and site seeing at the Grand Canyon.
At this point in time I would hope to be in Los Angeles, California. Here I would visit Universal Studios and go behind the scenes of some movies to see the settings and characters in action. Also in California I would visit the San Diego Zoo. I love nature and wildlife so I think I would love it here. My next destination would be Las Vegas, Nevada. This would probably be my favorite stop. Here I will ride dune buggies with my family through the desert. It will give me the adrenalin rush of a lifetime. Next, I would be exploring Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado. I will explore the wilderness and the mountains of course enjoying the beautiful views. I would also be visiting one of the tallest buildings in the United States, Skydeck Chicago (formally, Sears Tower) in Chicago, Illinois. Here I can see all of Chicago and beautiful Lake Michigan just across the way. It would be a site that I must see. Lastly, but not least, I would be arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to observe and learn about the Liberty Bell. Here I would also go to the Museum of Art to see some of the most interesting pieces of art in the world.
Now I would be heading home thinking about all the wonderful places I’ve just been. I would take in all that I have learned and think about just how amazing my trip really was.
