Hi Ms. Grose, I never had time to check and forgot and this picture is very humorous and it is interesting. This squirrel must take her hibernation seriously if she/he is guarding a single nut like that. -Matthew Mariner
Squirrels forget where they hide about half of their nuts. No wonder this squirrel is training to be a ninja He is going to use his superpowers to guard the nuts that he remembered where he put.
